INTO THE CLOUDSinto the clouds cover page

Into the Clouds, is a screenplay intended for animation about a four year old boy named Jason, that sets out to find his departed Grandfather, who he believes has gone  “Into The Clouds.” He is joined by a series of imagined friend, including a nervous alligator,  good-time lemon, cheerful roller-girl, workaholic snowman, over-zealous superhero, and Mr. Geegles, a man made of clothes.

The project also includes a bounded book of character illustrations, character breakdowns, mood boards, select story-boards, and comic-strips featuring the characters. Script/book available upon request.

MICAH CAROUSELA THINKS HE’S BETTER THAN CHRISTMAS   (FEATURE)

 “Micah Carousela Thinks He’s Better Than Christmas” is about a prickly alcoholic        struggling to be happy at what is often a challenging time of the year for some: Christmas. Micah keeps the world at a distance,  but when a car accident forces him into A.A. and community service, he is forced to reform his outlook, reevaluate his life and let people in.  – (This is what opened the doors for Into The Clouds for us because he responded well to it.)

Two lost, mismatched strangers: Ilona, a jaded, know-it-all 20 something travel blogger, and Casey, a 30 something comedian with a booked tour west, reluctantly team up on a road trip from New York to Los Angeles in a story about identity, pain, friendship, moving on and moving forward.

A  man is torn between moving to New York and Los Angeles to pursue his life’s work. The series tracks both choices in separate timelines. The show is about how is life is different, and how he grows in different ways based on this singular choice.

 

 

 

 

 

128 MADISON AVENUE   (FEATURE)

128 is about a young widower who recently lost his wife. He begins finding notes around the house that she left behind with the address 128 Madison Avenue listed on them. He tries to find the origin by traveling to various 128’s while also receiving periodic videos that she pre-scheduled via email delivery to him before she died. 

 

LOU PAGANO (PILOT)

Set in 1980’s New Jersey, a gruff WWII veteran is tasked with raising his grandson when his son dies in an accident, sending him on an unexpected journey of building a new future while coming to terms with the pain in his past

Rocky, an ambitious filmmaker – tries to keep his production company afloat and protect his friends as they navigate tortuous survival gigs, nefarious money interests and home-grown tensions in pursuit of their dreams of making a feature film.

Set in the cataclysmic year of 1919, an era of worker strikes, minority revolts, reformers, bootleggers, scammers and dreamers. At the center, Gennaro Petrosino, a New York City lawyer and ardent advocate for the beleaguered immigrants takes on the newly forming mafias and local government who seek to exploit, extort, and otherwise harm the new arrivals. Gennaro forms an uneasy allyship with crime boss JL Hennessey as they push back against a common enemy.

The Captains of Industry is a ratched-up comedy about three self-absorbed 30-somethings with unchecked amibitions who throw themselves into high stakes situations as they endeavor upon their outsized goals based on the sketch comedy of David Elmy, Paul Valenti and Rob Asaro

Set during a December evening in a New York City diner and through a series of vignettes where staff and patrons alike are challenged when life throws them unexpected curveballs. Natalie, a waitress resigned to disappointment grapples with whether or not she can change.

Life is out of order for Mick DeSoto, a man experiencing time distortions. Mick tries to set things right in various points in his life but his inability to stop shifting through time complicate his efforts. 

 

 

 

 

 

BIRTHDAY PARTY (INDIE FEATURE)

Told in six stories about a series of people getting ready to go to John Santoro’s birthday party. Birthday Party introduces us to characters struggling with themselves in a tale about creativity, the passage of time and acceptance.  (Cool looking poster to accompany this description coming when I get around to it!)

DOUGHNUTS AFTER MIDNIGHT   (FEATURE)

Doughnuts After Midnight is a screenplay, about two wayward souls, a disenchanted comedian who can’t get out of his own way and a college student about to wed her fiance, who forge a friendship as co-workers in a bakery in New York City.  A PAGE AWARDS Finalist. The PAGE AWARDS receives 6,000 script annually.
